I looked up a solution, but they were all really confusing and talked about audio drivers and realtek stuff, which I don't really understand. Your microphone could be picking up background noise. (I'm a little confused by this, it's the mic inside my computer right? So how can it not be plugged in? I haven't plugged in any other mic, especially not external ones, and I wasn't using any earphones or earphones) I go onto my voice recorder to test it, and it said 'my mic wasn't connected'.
